The Russian Realtors Guild (RGR)

The Russian Realtors Guild (RGR) is a national organization of professional real estate market participants, uniting 1500 companies, including 50 regional associations.

The Russian Guild of Realtors was founded in 1992. Its main development is the development of a civilized real estate market in Russia. In their work, all members of the WGR are bound to be guided by professional standards and the Code of Ethics.

RGR is aimed at the formation of a stable real estate market by participating in the development of legislation regulating the real estate market. Currently, RGR has created a related complex of information resources for WGR members, the main one being the Federal Register of Qualified Real Estate Experts of RGR - Agents and Brokers.

RGR participates in expert and legislative activities aimed at improving legislation in the real estate market.

In the conditions of abolition of licensing of realtor activity in Russia in 2002, the WGR created the Voluntary Certification of Realtor Services. This system helps the consumer choose a reliable company that demonstrates in practice high standards of service quality.

Each year RGR holds National Congresses of Real Estate - large-scale events of the Russian real estate market.

RGR cooperates with international organizations: FIAVSI (International Federation of Real Estate Market Participants), NAR (National Association of Realtors USA), ICREA (International Consortium of Real Estate Associations), CEPI (European Union of Real Estate Professionals), A.N.A.M.A. (National Association of Agents and Brokers, Italy). Annually, the WGR delegation participates in the business program of the Congress of the National Association of Realtors (USA), which gathers about 25,000 professional real estate market participants from around the world.
